These pages are designed to assist pupils to name and describe characters and settings within a story in order to bring their writing to life. They encourage pupils to consider the elements of their story before they begin writing and to make greater use of adjectives to add depth to their work. There are pages concerned with time and sequencing events. Pupils are asked to consider who, when, what, where, why and how. Feelings are explored to assist pupils to consider reasons.
